# Pagination

> List operations page with limit and an opaque cursor.

Collection endpoints return `next_cursor` when another page is available. This includes Simulators, Simulations, Worlds, Simulation steps, and clock-advance events. Each generated endpoint lists its pagination parameters.

* `limit` is the page size. It defaults to 50. Values below 1 use 50; values above 200 use 200.
* `cursor` is the `next_cursor` value from the previous page. The cursor is opaque.
* `next_cursor` in the response is `null` on the last page.

An unusable cursor answers `400 bad_request`. Step pages come from a running or paused Simulation; a stopped one answers `409 simulation_stopped`.

## Example

Set `CONTINUOUS_API_KEY` to your API key, then read the first page:

If `next_cursor` is not `null`, replace `<cursor>` with that value to read the next page:

Repeat with each new `next_cursor`. Stop when it is `null`.
