# apibox delete

> Delete API Box

Deletes an API Box, running or stopped, with its state. Its runtime is released after the response. An API Box that MCP Boxes front returns 409 apibox\_in\_use; delete them first.

```bash theme={null}
continuous apibox delete [flags]
```

## Examples

Replace `<id>` with the resource ID from your response before you run the command.

```bash theme={null}
continuous apibox delete --id <id>
```

## Flags

**--id, -i** `string` *required*

API Box ID.
