# simulation-snapshots delete

> Delete Simulation Snapshot

DEPRECATED: Use API Box for APIs and Web Box for web apps

Deletes a Snapshot and its saved state. Simulations created from it keep running, and their snapshot\_id becomes null. While it is creating, the response is 409 snapshot\_not\_ready; while a Simulation is starting from it, 409 snapshot\_in\_use.

```

## Examples

Replace `<id>` with the resource ID from your response before you run the command.

```bash theme={null}
continuous simulation-snapshots delete --id <id>
```

## Flags

**--id, -i** `string` *required*

Snapshot ID.
