# simulations regenerate-simulation-token

> Regenerate Simulation Token

Explicitly replaces the current Simulation credential. The previous token stops authenticating when the transaction commits. Reuse the Idempotency-Key to retry safely.

```bash theme={null}
continuous simulations regenerate-simulation-token [flags]
```

Alias: `rst`

## Examples

Replace `<id>` with the resource ID from your response before you run the command.

```bash theme={null}
continuous simulations regenerate-simulation-token --id <id> --idempotency-key <value>
```
