# simulators update

> Update Simulator

DEPRECATED: Use API Box for APIs and Web Box for web apps

Renames a Simulator. Omitted fields keep their current values. Continuous catalog Simulators cannot be changed.

Deprecated. Use API Box for APIs and Web Box for web apps.

continuous simulators update [flags]
```

## Examples

Replace `<id>` with the resource ID from your response before you run the command.

```bash theme={null}
continuous simulators update --id <id>
```

## Flags

**--body** `string`

Request body as JSON (alternative to individual flags). Can also be provided via stdin.

**--id, -i** `string` *required*

Simulator ID.

**--name, -n** `string`

New Simulator name.
