# worlds remove-world-simulation

> Remove World Simulation

Removes a member from a running or stopped World and returns the change. By default the member is detached and keeps running as a standalone Simulation; delete removes it and its saved state. A World keeps at least one member.

```bash theme={null}
continuous worlds remove-world-simulation [flags]
```

Alias: `rws`

## Examples

Replace `<id>` with the resource ID from your response before you run the command.

```bash theme={null}
continuous worlds remove-world-simulation --id <id> --simulation-id <id> --idempotency-key <value>
```

## Flags

**--body** `string`

Request body as JSON (alternative to individual flags). Can also be provided via stdin.

**--delete**

true stops and deletes the member and its saved state. false, the default, detaches it: it keeps its ID, endpoint, token, clock, and data as a standalone Simulation.

**--id** `string` *required*

World ID.

**--idempotency-key** `string` *required*

Stable key for this request. Reuse with the same body returns the same change.

**--simulation-id, -s** `string` *required*

ID of the member Simulation to remove.

Global flags apply to every command. See [Global flags](https://docs.continuouslabs.ai/cli/global-flags.md).
