A Cloud Box is an emulated cloud account. Your agent and tools call it with the cloud provider’s own SDKs and CLIs. Nothing reaches the real provider.

Create and connect

POST /v1/cloudbox with a ready snapshot_id returns the Cloud Box in starting, with its first Key and the Key’s secret. The response is the only one that includes the secret. Read the Cloud Box until it is running. GET /v1/cloudbox/{id}/connection returns how to reach it, including environment variables ready to export. Use them with the Key’s secret. POST /v1/cloudbox/{id}/keys creates another Key, and DELETE /v1/cloudbox/{id}/keys/{key_id} revokes one.

Snapshots

GET /v1/cloudbox-snapshots lists the Continuous catalog’s Snapshots and your workspace’s. POST /v1/cloudbox-snapshots saves a running Cloud Box as a Snapshot. New Cloud Boxes start from it with its resources. A Snapshot outlives the Cloud Box it saved. GET /v1/cloudbox-snapshots/{id}/resources lists the resources it holds.

Stop, start and delete

POST /v1/cloudbox/{id}/stop saves the state and releases the Cloud Box’s quota slot. POST /v1/cloudbox/{id}/start restores it until its restorable_until time. DELETE /v1/cloudbox/{id} removes the Cloud Box and its Keys; its Snapshots stay.
